Excited About The Big Jelly Event
We're very excited about 'The Big Jelly' event in 2011. As you may or may not know, we regularly attend monthly co-working events branded as 'jelly' days. These meet-ups get you out of the office and working in a room full of like minded and inspiring individuals allowing you to build your personal networks with other local businesses.
It's not strictly networking and it's not just sitting around having a chat either! They are highly productive days where you come away feeling motivated about your business.
Next year, the UK is leading the way by arranging the first 'big jelly' event. There are lots of workhubs around the UK already hosting regular jelly events, but this time everyone will be in the same place at the same time.
For further information, please visit the: The Big Jelly Website.

We recently attended the ShropGeek Event
We recently attended the ShropGeek event on: The Theory of (R)Evolution. Tickets quickly sold out for the event (which was only advertised on Twitter) showing the demand for this kind of event in the local area and also the power of social media.
There were three speakers at the event. Zach Beauvais from Talis spoke on the open data with the semantic web. Katy Cowan from BoomerangPR spoke about how she had an idea that grew into Creative Boom, an online magazine for the creative industries throughout the UK. And the final speaker was Dan Catt, web developer from the Guardian newspaper, who was highly entertaining!
For further information and photos of the event, go to the: ShropGeek Revolution Website.
